Pasta Workshop
Our cooking classes are aimed to those who’d like to attend a short but practical lesson about fresh Bolognese homemade pasta. You will return to your home with an acquired knowledge that is as tasty as it is precious
Description
This cooking class takes places in a small pasta workshop where every morning local Sfogline (pastamaker) make handmade pasta. Our “sfoglina” Martina will share with you all her secrets and technique to make fresh egg pasta.
- Make the pasta dough from scratch
- Learn how to roll pasta with the mattarello (rolling pin)
- Make Tortellini, Taglietelle and Tortelloni
- Enjoy your meal with pasta prepared and local wine
Don’t forget what you learned and throw your pasta machine away, buy a “Mattarello” 😉

Wine Tasting And Picnic in Dozza
Visit a small wine producer in Dozza hills, 40 minutes from Bologna, taste some local wine and enjoy a picnic in the vineyard.
Description
Discover the countryside of Bologna and visit a family run winery on the hills of Dozza, a beautiful medieval village mostly known for the production of Albana and Sangiovese wine.
After the visit we prepare for you a cute picnic basket with local food, chill under the sun of Romagna hills and enjoy it!
Schedule
- Walk around the vineyard, visit the cellar and taste 2 glasses of wine.
- Grab your picnic basket with:
- Local Focaccia with olive oil
- Piadina Romagnola
- Cold cuts produced by the winery (Prosciutto, Ciccioli, Coppa d’estate)
- Selection of cheese (provolone, grana 36 months, caciotta CSPT)
- Fresh vegetables and pickels
- Cookies and homemade jam
- One bottle of wine every 2 people + water
- Relax on a picnic towel and Buon Appetito!

How to reach the winery
We suggest to take the train from Bologna Centrale to Castel S. Pietro (10 mins – 4€ each way), we can pick you up at the train station of Castel S. Pietro by car (for free).
You’ll receive all information after booking.
Language
Activity run by the wine producer in English. In case of bad weather the entire experience will be inside the winery and you can have your Food&Wine tasting inside.
